Drop the white of an egg into a glass of water. The number of divisions is the number of children

Walnut Boats
Remove the meat from walnut shells and in each half shell fasten short pieces of different colored christmas candles. Name each after a member of the party and float on a large pan or tub of water. If two walnut boats glide together the people will have a similar destiny. If they glide apart they will grow apart. The first candle to go out will be a bachelor. Nutshells will also accept melted wax and wicks.
